Product Description
The Magewell Pro Convert SDI TX is a standalone hardware encoder that converts SD/HD/3G-SDI signals in real time to NDI High Bandwidth network streams, supporting up to 2048x1080 60fps while simultaneously transmitting up to 16 channels of SDI embedded audio. The device is powered via IEEE 802.3af PoE or USB 2.0 (5V/2.1A), and can be configured over a USB RNDIS/ECM connection or a standard RJ45 Ethernet link. A built-in Web UI and Magewell Control Hub interface provide remote management with hardware-accelerated de-interlacing, scaling, frame-rate conversion and aspect-ratio adjustment. A Mini-DIN 8 jack supports both Tally light connection and PTZ camera control via VISCA, PELCO-P and PELCO-D protocols. An on-board 16-position rotary DIP switch sets the device index (0 to F) for easy identification in multi-unit deployments. Suitable for live multi-camera production, campus recording, corporate live streaming and any professional application that requires bringing SDI camera signals into an NDI ecosystem.
